CEREMP (Central European Register for Market Participants) is a centralised European register of wholesale energy market participants containing data from national registers established and administered by national regulators.

Before entering into transactions which are required to be reported to ACER, participants in the wholesale energy markets are obliged (pursuant to Article 9 of REMIT) to register with the national regulatory authority in the Member State in which they are established or resident or, if they are not established or resident in the EU, in a Member State in which they are active.

A market participant shall register only with one national regulatory authority.

Market participants which are established or resident in the Slovak Republic are required to register in the national register of market participants (CEREMP) administered by URSO before entering into transactions on the wholesale electricity or gas market.

Please note that before you register the market participant (the company), an authorised natural person must register as a user, i.e. create a user account in CEREMP. In order for the user account to be approved by URSO, a certified (by a notary) power of attorney must be attached to the user registration form demonstrating that the natural person/user is authorised to administer the market participant´s profile in CEREMP and make the required changes there.

After approval of the user account, you can proceed and start registering the market participant.
Once all the data in the market participant registration form are filled out correctly and your registration request is approved, the system will automatically assign an ACER code, a unique identifier by way of which the market participant will be reporting its transactions to ACER.

Detailed information (user guide) on the registration process for the user and for the market participant can be found here (in Slovak language only):
